Fueled by the vision of launching a family-oriented contract manufacturing company, Ace Electronics was founded by three telecommunications industry experts, Ed DiVila, Larry Pomasan, and Vinu Patel, shortly before the emergence of the personal computer. As technology and cable needs evolve, their commitment to excellence and innovation still steers the company's character among successive generations of the Ace Electronics and Ace Electronics Defense Systems teams.
Larry Pomasan, one of the founders of Ace Electronics and Ace Electronics Defense Systems, is a retired United States Marine and an active member of the Association of the United States Army. He began his career in the telecommunications cable assembly market in 1975 as the Division Vice President of Alpha Wire. He applied his skills in sales and marketing analysis to help launch Ace Electronics with Vinu Patel and Ed DiVila in 1986. He has directed the company's continued success as COO of Ace Electronics for over 40 years, and CEO of Ace Electronics Defense Systems since its inception in 2009.

John Wright, President, is a retired US Army Colonel who began his service in the infantry and went on to become a Master Aviator, graduate of the US Naval Test Pilot School, and a certified Experimental Test Pilot. Col. Wright holds a BS in Engineering from the US Military Academy and an MA of Acquisition and Procurement from Webster University. His awards include the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Korea Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Medal. After John's successful Army career, he continued supporting our armed forces by joining and becoming President of Ace Electronics Defense Systems, LLC in 2009. John has created a unique workplace that encourages employees to excel to their highest potential.
Nish Patel, VP of Operations, is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Economics. He furthered his training at the Alpha Wire Institute of Interconnection Technology, as well as AT&T, 3M Telecomm Products and Fiber Optics, and is certified in IPC 620 (trainer) and J-STD 0001. He's directed operations at Ace Electronics since 2009 and Ace Electronics of Michigan, LLC since 2010.
Sue DiVila, VP of Sales and Marketing, has an MS in Education and a BA in Business Administration, with a minor in Theater Arts. After launching and operating an onsite corporate fitness programs business, she brought her dynamic energy to the Sales and Business Development team of Ace Electronics. Here, she worked alongside her father, Founder Ed DiVila, for over 15 years. Today she leads the Sales team and guides the marketing vision for Ace. Sue also has training in the Defense Industry and serves as First Region President of the Association of the United States Army.
